AC and Heat Unit Disconnects
- First strip out all the wire coming into the disconnect 1/2 inch. Slide all of the ground wires (green or bare copper) into the ground bar and tighten them down
- Next identify the line wire (wire coming from the panel) and slide the white and black wires into the slots labelled line and tighten them down. (Both wires are hot so it doesnt matter what side they go on).
- Finally, identify the load wires (wire going to the A/C or the Heat Unit) and slide them into the slot labelled load and tighten down the screws. Now slide the pull into the slot so the on is facing up. Attach the cover and your done.
