•  Ceiling fans are about the same as light fixtures, too many problems and parts to really explain all that can be wrong. The only general information we can give is the fan switchleg (black wire) hooks to tthe black wire in the fan, the light kit switchleg (red wire) hooks to the blue wire in the fan, and the nuetrals tie together as well as the grounds.
• If you only have one wire coming from the switch to the fan, connect both black and blue wires in the fan to the black wire coming from the switch.
